Libby Meyrick
Libby has worked at the IED since 1997. She joined as Membership Manager, worked for a number of years as Education and Training Manager and became CEO in 2001. Libby has particular interests in environmental issues and how designers can be a positive influence on solving the big issues such as climate change and water and food security.
Nadine Pearce,
Nadine has worked at the IED since 1994, and has been PA to three of the Institution's six CEOs. This means she is the font of all knowledge about the Institution and an IED National Treasure.
Linda Parry
Our newest member of staff, Linda joined the IED in 2019, after a career in retail and customer management. Linda's role at the IED is focussed on supporting the Membership Committee and helping to guide designers in the application process. Linda can also be seen representing the IED at Universities, trade shows and conferences around the UK.
Jo Winslow
Jo's role at the IED consists of supporting the Education and Training Committee in assessing academic standards of individuals and course accreditations. Jo spends most of the year travelling between universities and colleges, leading a team of assessors who scrutinise the standards of design education courses. Jo also runs the annual Engineering and Product Design Education conference (E&PDE).
David Osborne
David looks after the cash! He is in charge of annual subscriptions, communications with members about registration fees and renewals, and generally anything to do with the accounts systems. When he's really lucky he even gets to work on the VAT returns.
Molly Kerr
Molly joined the IED in September 2024 as one of two newly appointed apprentices. Molly will be helping the IED to improve its membership offer, its general office efficiency and assisting the current staff with anything that is thrown at her!
Lydia Watson
Lydia provides all the support needed by the other members of staff to enable the smooth running of IED HQ. Whether that's filing, photocopying or keeping us all topped up with coffee she's been doing a great job for over 27 years.
Harrison Stocker
Harrison joined the IED last year as an Apprentice after completing a graphic design degree at Portsmouth University. He is our go to for anything social media related and we hope that his expertise will help us improve our communication with members, the broader engineering design community and beyond.
