Senior Lecturer in Product Design
London South Bank University
The Department of Architecture and Design has over six hundred full and
part-time students studying Architecture and Design at the heart of the
University s Elephant and Castle campus, close to the Design Museum and
the Tate Britain. Our courses are innovative and design focussed with an
emphasis on a learning environment where academic rigor and the freedom
to experiment and design are valued. There is an emphasis on delivering
innovative and creative design solutions that connect design processes
with architectural projects and fully prototyped products. Currently our
courses are professionally accredited by the RIBA and the IED. Our
students produce award winning design work and we have excellent links
with employers. We are looking to appoint new staff to the Department
with backgrounds in teaching, design practice, history and theory who
wish to pursue their career in a creative department located in central

Senior Lecturer in Product Design
The Department of Architecture and Design is seeking a dynamic person to
teach at undergraduate and future postgraduate levels in the area of
Product Design. This is an opportunity for a Product Designer with a
professional reputation who has advanced cad, skills in digital
representation with experience in parametric modelling and prototyping to
join the Department. You will be required to connect innovative design
processes to the manufacture of full scale prototypes as well as
contributing to the Department s research activities.

0.4 Senior Lecturer History and Theory
The Department of Architecture and Design is seeking a dynamic person to
teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will need to have a
strong background in History and Theory as well as knowledge of the
contemporary architectural debate and an understanding of design. Ideally
you will have reputation in the subject area with an interest in cultural
issues and will be able to contribute to developing the Departments
research activities.
