Professional review
This is a requirement for all those applying for corporate membership of the Institution - MIED.
It consists of a report written by the applicant and an interview based on the report. Interviews will be held local to you, when practical, and with the minimum of delay.
The report should be between 1000 and 2000 words, in English, preferably word processed. It will be in your own style, drawing attention to your work and experience, which you believe demonstrates your competence and responsibility as an engineer in the field of engineering design. The report should be signed and dated and verified by your proposer.
If you are unable to submit a word processed report, the IED provides this service at a cost of £30.
