The Hills Millennium Award

The Hills Millennium Award is presented annually by the Institution to an overseas designer who has made a major contribution to the professional areas of Engineering Design, and/or Product Design. The cup was presented to the Institution in 2000 by Professor Peter Hills and his wife to mark the Millennium and the period Professor Hills served as President of the IED.

IED Prizes

We also make annual awards to students on IED accredited courses who have excelled in their studies.

All nominators should be IED members and the students should also be IED student members.

HNC/HND Nominations

The IED Prize consists of a trophy, a certificate endorsed by the Institution and a year's free Diplomate or Graduate membership, along with the winner's details appearing in the journal magazine.

The deadline for prizes is Wednesday 27 June 2012 and should be sent to Judith Grace, Education and Training, IED, Westbury Leigh, Westbury, Wiltshire, BA13 3TA.
