Geoff Kirk Young Members’ Award
This year sees the second year of the Geoff Kirk Young Members’ Award, which will be presented to a young member of the IED, at the start of their career, who has demonstrated potential in engineering or product design.
If you think that this is you, and would like to nominate yourself for the award, please complete the nomination form and return to us at the IED HQ by Friday 18 May 2012. Alternatively if you have a young IED member working at your organisation who you think fits the bill, please do complete the nomination form and return to us.

The winner of the award will receive a trophy plus a profile and/or article in the journal – a wonderful addition to any CV. So, go on, fill the form in and email it to alison@ied.org.uk.

We also make annual awards to students on IED accredited courses who have excelled in their studies.
All nominators should be IED members and the students should also be IED student members.

The IED Prize consists of a trophy, a certificate endorsed by the Institution and a year's free Diplomate or Graduate membership, along with the winner's details appearing in the journal magazine.
The deadline for prizes is Wednesday 27 June 2012 and should be sent to Judith Grace, Education and Training, IED, Westbury Leigh, Westbury, Wiltshire, BA13 3TA.
